Coming July 1st: Pastor Scott Kuhnle and Family: Pastor Scott grew up in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, before attending Palm Beach Atlantic University, in West Palm Beach, Florida. He graduated with an Undergraduate Degree in Biblical Studies and a minor in Youth Ministries. From 2009-2021, Scott was the Director of Student Ministries at East Stroudsburg United Methodist Church, and became the Pastor of Family Ministries in January 2020. He is currently enrolled at Evangelical Seminary, in Myerstown, PA and is working to complete a Masters of Divinity Degree. In July 2021, Scott was appointed as the Pastor of Black Creek UMC, in Sugarloaf PA. Scott is married and he and his wife Sarah have two children. Pastor Scott preaches the Word of God in ways that apply to every day life. Come join us in welcoming Pastor Scott and his family to Effort Church Sundays @ 8:30 am and 11 am beginning July 1st!
It is with great joy and appreciation that we announce that Effort United Methodist Church has been awarded a five-year Grant (2021-2026) from the George T. Walker Fund of the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation, which will be used for various projects.
